Amanda Curtis CEnv, MIEMA, BSc (Hons)
ACE Sustainable Futures was founded in 2019 as a unique way to offer businesses and events independent expert advice to enhance sustainability performance and create lasting change.
Since then, I have supported Ocado Retail and M&S on developing their leading net zero strategies, delivery of initiatives and strengthening ESG governance. Being part of their teams enabled a more personal and embedded way to move the sustainability agenda forward.
I have been lead advisor to the ATP Tour since 2019 and more recently the European Equestrian Federation. Having developed their sustainability strategies, focus is now on delivery and achieving ambitious targets.

Ocado Retail & M&S - Net Zero Strategy
As Net Zero Lead, I created a challenging strategy focusing on carbon reduction and empowerment

ATP Tour - Sustainability Strategy
As lead advisor, I produced a leading sports sustainability strategy focusing on travel and resource consumption
IGD - Sustainable Packaging Systems
Impactful change occurs through collaboration and systems thinking. I was proud to convene a cross industry collective of major food & drinks retailers and brands to deliver an industry wide sustainable packaging systems ambition to 'halve the environmental impacts of packaging systems by 2030'
- Convened stakeholders across the value chain to create a long term direction of travel
- Weaved systems thinking tools and techniques to encourage industry to collaborate better
- Created strategy and delivery programme on decision making and reuse (retailer trials)
M&S
As lead Environment Manager for Foods, I created a challenging strategy focusing on carbon, waste & responsible sourcing - and delivered....
- Value chain programme - ensuring environmental, ethical, sourcing and lean performance of suppliers and sourcing
- Food loss and surplus programme – delivering rapid reduction in food waste and ensuring over 7 million meals were redistributed to charity partners
- Science-based target commitment - delivering emissions reduction
The Coca Cola Company
As Environmental Manager for North West Europe & the Nordics, I managed the ingredients carbon footprint of the Coca Cola portfolio, produced a strategic roadmap for improving sustainability within the supply chain and provided technical expertise on sustainable agriculture.
London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games
As the Senior Sustainability Manager at the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, I designed and implemented the venues and games operational sustainability strategy including overlay design, town planning, procurement of materials, sponsor showcasing management and games time venue operations.
